[Summer 2025] Doorway Project Resource Fair outreach

*"Backup" volunteers will be contacted if a volunteer can no longer make their shift. Please DO NOT "give" your shift to a friend, as we want to make it fair and allow the next person on the list to attend.
Cancellations: If you sign-up for a session and need to cancel, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator Theo Lartey (theo555@uw.edu). If canceling within 12 hours of outreach, please contact outreach manager!
How to prepare: Mask is required. Wear closed toed shoes and casual, comfortable clothing that is appropriate to bend over, kneel, and crouch in. Please refrain from wearing flashy items like expensive jewelry. Bring your UDSM or UW name badge if you have one!

UDSM will be attending the annual Doorway Project Resource Fair at University Heights on Friday, 6/6, 12-4pm.
The Doorway Project puts this event on each June to introduce community members to housing, health, and case management resources in the U District. There are 31 organizations tabling there this year and we estimate ~350 attendees based on previous years. We'll have a table with a tent set up and will provide the same services as our street/van outreaches.
