FirstPres Warming Shelter

Come and support our Neighbors in Need by providing a meal or helping register/check in our guests.

The Warming Shelter will be open when temperatures are below 40 degrees or raining. We will check the weather on Saturday nights and announce days open for the following week on Sunday at Breakfast and Chance of Showers.

Please sign up for a day of the week that you would be willing to come and help do check-ins. Plan to be here from 6:30pm-9:00pm. We will need at least 2 volunteers each night we are open. Once the open days are established on Saturday night, we will contact volunteers to confirm availability for the upcoming week.

Each night we are open we will be providing a hot dinner for our guests. If you or a group that you are a part of is interested in providing a meal, you can sign up below. Once the schedule for the week is made on Saturday evening, we will call you to confirm a specific day for you to bring a meal. Hot meals need to be in the MPR by 6:45pm. If you are unable to bring it at that time you can bring something to be heated during church office hours, 8:30am-4:30pm M-Th. Meals are reimbursable with receipts, up to $75. Meals need to serve 30 people.
