Cal VSA Culture Show 2010 Acting Auditions

Auditions are in 83 Dwinelle. If you come early, you can wait in a nearby classroom for standby.
Please bring your application on the day of audition!

We're very excited to put together an awesome cast of folks who are interested in sharing their talent and their love for Vietnamese art and culture with our campus and community on April 17th 2010! No experience is required, just dedication and willingness to learn. Please fill out the following form and see the Character List for a role you may be interested in. The audition will be 10-15 minutes long and will consist of the following:

1) Interview
2) 1-3 minute long prepared (preferably memorized) monologue of your choice (you can find many monologues online at http://www.monologuearchive.com
3) A cold reading of part of the script for the specific character you would like to be
4) Follow up questions

Please don't be shy. Just come 5 minutes early prepared with the form, monologue, and questions. It'll be fun!
