"Nerve Transfer Surgery: The (New) Frontier for Brachial Plexus Injuries, Tetraplegia, and Beyond.”
Nerve transfer surgery has expanded treatment options for numerous devastating problems, including brachial plexus, spinal cord, and amputation injuries. In this presentation, Dr. Ko will discuss how novel surgical techniques and outside-the-box thinking have led to advances in these patients' function and quality of life.

Dr. Ko is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington. He practices at Harborview Medical Center and at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center.
