Evening Intake Staff and Hospitality Hosts at Hands of Hope

Time: 5:30PM to 7:30 PM

Where: Hands of Hope, 909 Spiva Ave., Yuba City (Gray Ave = nearest cross street)

Staffing: 2 Screeners and 2 Hospitality Staff (or more) The evening Hospitality Hosts help set up the area to make the guests comfortable as they wait during intake. They prepare coffee, talk with guests, etc. Each night one Hospitality Host provides supervision outside the center.

The Intake Staff perform a very basic behavioral assessment of guests at intake center. A bit of additional training is required for Intake Staff. Individuals with social services background are encouraged to volunteer for these positions (although not required).
