Immersion Facilitator Training

Are you interested in leading Rollins community members to take action in local/regional communities during weekend/weeklong leadership and service immersion trips? Are you interested in exploring opportunities to become a future immersion site-leader? Have you taken part in an immersion experience and want to pass along the opportunity to your peers?

If so, sign up to become a trained facilitator! See details below!

The Rollins Immersion Program exposes students, faculty and staff to critical cultural, social, political and structural issues in the community through weekends (and sometimes one week) of civic and community engagement. Rooted in the academic mission of Rollins to educate students for global citizenship and responsible leadership, Rollins Immersion Program: Citizens Take Action, is intended to engage the Rollins community in experiences of education, reflection, and action.

Any faculty, staff, or student member of the Rollins community is welcome to participate in a day-long training session to become an official trained immersion facilitator. Trained leaders provide direction and support for participants during their weekend/weeklong journeys of education, reflection and action. The training will also provide an opportunity to lead future experiences. We will also be providing a specialized international track this year.
