Overnight Supervising Staff Volunteers

The Volunteers primary tasks are to: 1) ensure safety 2) guest and site supervision 3) lights out at 10pm 4) ensure guests complete morning clean-up chores 5) prepare guests and files for transport back to portal site. Shift hours are 7PM to 7AM.

All volunteers will need to pass a background screening and complete an orientation & CAP class. Hands of Hope will reimburse for the cost involved if needed.

At least 2 supervision people needed per night shift. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to do your shift. If you sign up within 48 hours of your shift please contact Gloria or Ruth.

Family Emergency Winter Shelter Program starts December 15, 2009 and ends April 15th, 2010, (depending on the weather). We currently need many more volunteers for the overnight shifts. Talk with your friends, neighbors and relatives to form overnight teams!!!
