Kehilla High Holydays Service Chevra

A Service Chevra is a group of volunteers working together on one project for the High Holydays. This is a great way to really connect with other volunteers, meet other members and enjoy their company.
Volunteering can be a wonderful form of the spiritual experience in the fulfillment of the logistical needs of the High Holydays.

Bima Setup team before services. Help to setup the bima and sanctuary with candles, tablecloths, water, etc. All supplies provided

DV Dvora Gordon · I will be out of town the night of the Yom Kippur service, but I can help with all the other services.

KA Karen Cutler · For RH would need my contribution to be at shul collecting things to be ready for transport on weekend before holiday due to work schedule on Wednesday.

Playshops Service Chevra

Accessibility Service Chevra- Assist with planning and day of seating for any one with accessibility needs.

Love Those Kids Service Chevra- Planning of childcare during High Holydays

Gateway Service Chevra- enabling people to enter the High Holyday experience at the doorways, assisting with ticket purchases and will call ticketing, also directing people to the right areas of the building

Break Fast Service Chevra -help in the planning and setting up of the post-Yom Kippur break fast at the synagogue

KA KAM and Gabriella · We could come at the break, encourage bringing dishes, set up, but neither can do clean up, no energy to stay!
