Congregational Leadership Teams
CLT Meeting: Wednesday, November 25th @ 6:00pm, Davis Community Church Congregational Leadership Teams (CLT). The CLT will be responsible for providing oversight of the shelter operations. CLT members would be provided additional training so that they feel comfortable supervising shelter operations. There will still be an IRWS Core Team member on-call at all times if you need them. Becoming a CLT member involves: Attending one additional training Sending out reminders to volunteers via the new and improved (and MUCH easier) online Volunteer Management System Having one CLT person be present at the shelter during the evening (6:15pm) through dinner time. This does not require an overnight commitment, though we welcome it! Commitment of 5-7 CLT members per host week (Example: DCC: 3 weeks x 5-7 CLT members = 15-21 CLT members on the team). The idea is to have enough people on each CLT that you'd be committing to only one night of supervision.
